Past participants in the CCA have discovered their new-found knowledge and experiences invaluable as they prepare senior projects, college applications and scholarship essays and then embark on their college studies.

The Cultural Communications Alliance offers support for teachers:
  • Authentic projects that reflect current practices in business
  • Contacts with business and university professionals who can enrich curricula and classrooms
  • Cultural workshops to stay abreast of current research
  • A network of experienced teachers willing to share best practices with newcomers
  • A mentor from a local corporation to guide the research and planning process
  • Innovations in teleconferencing in the global marketplace
  • Reinforcement for extended foreign language study
  • Grant awards to participating schools

How can you take advantage of the wealth of opportunities that the Cultural Communications Alliance provides? CCA kicks off the international marketing simulation with an Informational Meeting and Teacher Orientation each year in October/November. Both new and experienced teachers should plan to attend.

Why not make the CCA an integral part of your foreign language program? Teachers interested in attending the orientation should contact Adrienne Irwin.

The members of the Cultural Communications Alliance look forward to collaborating with you to benefit our students.
