4. Why should you become a member of CCA?

CCA addresses a dire need in the business and education communities. In the United States, failure to carry out overseas asignments currently costs US companies over $2 billion annually in losses. In Pennsylvania over 87,000 businesses (31%) are directly involved in trade and the export of goods and services. Of the state's top ten global markets, only half of all exports go to English-speaking countries. Countries where a foreign language is spoken currently get a much smaller share of PA's export business.

5. How time should you expect to commit to CCA?

CCA business mentors work a maximum of 30 hours in a school year, performing important community outreach efforts.Teachers average 20 hours per school year (apply ACT 48 hours). Student commitment averages 30 hours (participation designed for use as a senior project).
